Know Me

Prachiti Talathi Gandhi is an editor, translator, proofreader, publishing consultant, and a true book lover. Originally from Chiplun, a small town in India, she now calls Dubai home. Her journey has taken her from the structured worlds of law and business consultancy into the colorful, vibrant realm of literature.

Since 2013, Prachiti has contributed to the Emirates Airline Festival of Literature, supporting operations behind the scenes and managing author signings. She has shared insights through reviews published in Gulf News and other platforms. Her work includes co-authoring My Arabian Almanakh, translating The Boy Who Swallowed a Nail into Marathi, and reviewing numerous books for festivals, media, and publishers. Fluent in both Marathi and English, her translation approach respects cultural nuances while ensuring the text reads naturally in either language.

With over 15 years of experience, Prachiti has edited and proofread books in two languages, mentored aspiring writers, taught translation and proofreading, explored the healing power of bibliotherapy, and crafted content across more than 25 industries. Her work blends linguistic skill with cultural sensitivity, whether refining manuscripts, reviewing audio data for an AI platform, or creating clear, compelling copy.

When not immersed in words, she enjoys discovering new places, getting lost in a good book, or capturing the world through her camera lens.
